TS Eliot Prize for Poetry are two independent literary prizes in the United Kingdom and in the United States, named after TS Eliot .

TS Eliot Prize from the Poetry Book Society

The British TS Eliot Prize has been awarded annually since 1993 by the Poetry Book Society founded by TS Eliot for a collection of new poems in the United Kingdom or Ireland. With the closure of the Poetry Book Society, the administration of the award passed to the TS Eliot Foundation from 2016. The prize has been endowed with £ 25,000 since 2017 (previously £ 20,000). The jury consists of a chairman and two other members who select the winner from a previously published shortlist .

TS Eliot Prize from Truman State University

The US TS Eliot Prize has been awarded annually since 1997 by Truman State University in TS Eliot's home state Missouri for a new collection of poetry in English. It was endowed with $ 2,000 . Finalists were selected from applicants, from which an annually changing juror selected the winner. The last time the prize was awarded was in 2017; since then the awarding of the prizes has been discontinued.
