The TI-30X Plus MultiView is a solar and battery powered calculator from Texas Instruments . Its keyboard is clearly laid out by avoiding third-party assignments. Less frequently used functions are stored in scrollable menus.

In 2015, it was recognized by the German Society for Education, Information and Media as an ICT-based educational medium that is particularly valuable in terms of pedagogy, content and design in the teaching and learning management systems category with the Comenius EduMedia seal . The TI-30X Plus MultiView meets the requirements of the German federal states of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria and also the definition of a simple scientific pocket calculator (WTR) from the Berlin IQB . The TI-30X Plus thus forms its own class within the group of scientific school computers from Texas Instruments.

The TI-30X Plus MultiView is the only approved WTR from Texas Instruments in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg according to the requirements of the ministries of education for all school types. According to a letter from the Ministry in Baden-Württemberg dated July 18, 2017, there is a hidden option to activate the additional functionality of the TI-30X Pro MultiView. Texas Instruments is working on a solution.
