The Toruński Klub Sportowy Toruń ( TKS Toruń for short ) was a Polish sports club from Toruń . The association was founded on August 10, 1922 and existed until December 1937.

history

The first thing to do was to set up the football department made up of former players from Sokół Toruń and Czarni Toruń. In 1923 the club joined the regional football association TZOPN . In 1923–1926, TKS Toruń won the Pomeranian Championship (A class). In the 1927 season the club was one of the founding members of the league . In the first season in the league, TKS Toruń Wisła Kraków lost 0:15. It is still the biggest loss of a club in the Polish first division. Halfway through the 1928 season, the club withdrew from playing. The following year, the newly founded association TKS 29 Toruń reported for the A-class of the TZOPN. In December 1937 the association was dissolved for financial reasons. The football department was taken over by Pomorzanin Toruń . The ice hockey department, which played for the Polish championship from 1927 to 1931, was taken over by Gryf Toruń in December 1931.
