The TSG Groß-Bieberau is a gymnastics and sports community in the Hessian town of Gross-Bieberau . The association was founded in 1892. In addition to handball, the club is also active in dance and gymnastics.

The first men's team in the handball department was promoted to the 2nd handball league in 2003, where they played until 2006. Due to the relegation, the team played in the Regionalliga Süd-West and narrowly missed direct re-promotion. In the end, the SG Wallau / Massenheim made it and the Groß-Bieberauer had to wait another year before they were promoted to the 2nd handball league and were able to prevail against the HG Saarlouis . With coach Thomas Göttmann, TSG rose again in 2008. With the introduction of the single-track 2nd handball Bundesliga, the club did not apply for a license and will play in the 3rd League South in the 2011/2012 season .

The home games are played in the large sports hall in Wesner. The hall has a capacity of 1,200 spectators.

The club has 1,100 members, 700 of them in handball. In addition to one men's and two women's teams, 22 youth teams also play at TSG.

The youth teams belong to the JSG Gersprenztal syndicate . This consists of the clubs TSG Groß-Bieberau, TSV 1921 Modau, TV 1888 Reinheim and TV 1908 Wersau.

In the 2013/2014 season, TSG Groß-Bieberau and TSV Modau founded MSG Groß-Bieberau / Modau . There are currently 3 men's teams registered. The first team plays in the 3rd league east, the 2nd team in the district league Odenwalt-Spessart and the 3rd team in the district league C2 Odenwald-Spessart.
