TT-34 is a Belarusian metal band from Gomel . Because of their lyrics, the band is controversial in their home country, while they have a steadily growing fan base in neighboring Russia . The sampler contribution to the film Guardian of the Night Jack is probably the band's best-known song. The band is currently under contract with the Deti Solntsa label . The lyrics of the band are written exclusively in Russian .

Band history

The band was founded in 1996 in Gomel / Belarus under the name Head Cleaner . The founders of the band are singer Konstantin Petrovic Astapenko, drummer Aleksej Smirnov, guitarist Alexander Wolostnow and bassist Alexej Grigoryev. In 1996 she started recording her first demo CD.

Two years later, guitarist Wolostnow left the band and was replaced by Sergei Kuzmenkow. He already played in the bands Entry and Voodoo . In July 1998, Grigoryev was replaced by Valery Novoseltsew on bass. Like Kuzmenkow, he played at Entry and Voodoo .

In January 1999 the recording of their second demo CD Psychodelic Bomb began . In May of the same year the band changed their name to TT-34 . At the end of 1999, Alexander Potemkina von Entry was joined by another singer.

In 2001 the band became a member of the Children of the Sun organization . From 1999 to 2006 the band gave over 300 concerts in Russia , Belarus , Ukraine and the Baltic States .

In 2002 the band was supported by the Russian rapper Sergej Parchomenko .

In 2004 the band released with Грубый помол . Because of their lyrics, the band is controversial in their home country. In the same year the band played the song Jack for the film Guardian of the Night in the USA . The band is under contract with Deti Solntsa , a Russian indie label.

A year later, the album Бум! .

In November 2006, the second singer Potemkina left the band and was replaced by Krischanowski Ljubomir - who had been a singer in the band Jazzlatex until then .

In September 2007, Konstantin Petrovic, the third founder, left the band. Since then the band has been quiet.
