The youth work under the direction of Kurt Egner and Otto Rohm showed numerous successes, including a. the youngsters were Southwest Champion in 1949/50.

In 1952, the table tennis division of the SKV Mörfelden split off and on September 26, 1952, the independent table tennis club TTC Mörfelden was founded. After several promotions, the men's team reached the league in 1953, at that time the top division in German table tennis.

The men's team became German champions for the first time in the 1954/55 season. In the final, Dieter Michalek , Erich Arndt , Harko von Noorden, Hermann Keim, Manfred Kehm and Erich Geiß defeated CTTF Bonn 9: 4. All players came from their own youth department. A year later the team defended the title in the line-up Erich Arndt, Dieter Michalek, Harko von Noorden, Hermann Keim, Erich Geiß and H. Weber with a 9: 4 victory over TTC Grün-Weiß Berlin . In 1956/57 the final against Eintracht Frankfurt ended in a draw 8: 8. Because of the better set ratio of 21:19, Mörfelden (Erich Arndt, Dieter Michalek, Hermann Keim, Harko von Norden, Hubert Nock, Erich Geiß) won the German championship for the third time in a row.

The fourth title was won by Erich Arndt, Dieter Michalek, Adolf Richardon, Hermann Keim, Hubert Nock and Horst Hiebsch in the 1959/60 season in front of TTV Metelen . A year later, the team finished second behind Borussia Düsseldorf due to the worse set ratio .
