Tadas Klimavičius (born October 10, 1982 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian basketball player . He can play in power forward and center positions. He currently plays for Neptūnas Klaipėda in the LKL .

With Žalgiris Kaunas Klimavičius won four times in a row the national championship (2011-2014) and three times in a row the Baltic Basketball League .

After six years at Kaunas, Klimavičius moved to Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany in the summer of 2014 . In the 2014/15 season he averaged 12.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, in the following season it was 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. At the end of the 2015/16 season, Klimavičius announced that he wanted to switch back to a club from his home country Lithuania. Klimavičius is under contract with Neptūnas Klaipėda in the 2016/17 season .

Lithuanian national basketball team

At the 2010 Basketball World Cup , Klimavičius was a member of the Lithuanian national basketball team . He has been used in multiple games, averaging 3.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Lithuania won the bronze medal.
