Tadeusz Klaus

Tadeusz Klaus , real name Klaus Langer (born January 19, 1960 in Grevenbroich ), is a German composer .

After graduating from the Erasmus-Gymnasium in Grevenbroich in 1978 , he graduated as a Dipl.-Ing. for sound and video technology at the University of Applied Sciences and the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf, majoring in piano with Ria Goetze , choir direction with Heinz Odenthal , and graduated in 1982 with a thesis on organ acoustics. In 2007 he passed a church music C exam at the University of Catholic Church Music in Rottenburg and the Archdiocese of Cologne . In addition to choral music for practical use, his compositional work includes chamber music, song settings and oratorios. He is intensely committed to the rediscovery of the harmonium and initiated the biennial European Harmonium Festival in October 2015, of which he is the artistic director.
