Tadhg O'Sullivan

Tadhg O'Sullivan ( 1927 - 1999 ) was an Irish ambassador .

Life

In 1949 he joined the foreign service and in 1951 was secretary of the legation in Paris. He was employed in Dublin , Brussels and Bern . In 1961 he was appointed Counselor to the Mission at UN Headquarters . In 1970 he was ambassador to Lagos , Nigeria . From 1981 to 1984 he was ambassador to Washington, DC From 1985 to September 16, 1987 he was ambassador to Moscow . From September 16, 1987 to October 7, 1991 he was ambassador to Paris .

Tadhg O'Sullivan was married to Brid O'Sullivan.
