The Tahara house on the Jewish cemetery in Schwanfeld , a community in the Lower Franconian district of Schweinfurt ( Bavaria ), was built in the middle of the 18th century. The Tahara House is a protected monument on the road to Obereisenheim .

Draw well

The Tahara house stands on the edge of a valley in which the Jewish cemetery was laid out on an irregular surface. The building on an almost square floor plan originally had the tahara room on the ground floor and a prayer room on the upper floor. A stone Tahara table and a draw well have been preserved in the Tahara room .
