The Tahara House on the Jewish cemetery in Walsdorf , a community in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg ( Bavaria ), was built in 1742. The Tahara House is a protected monument on the road to Steinsdorf .

The Tahara house is located on the northwestern edge of the irregular terrain. The building is a half-timbered construction and is 12.14 m long and 8.55 m wide. The gable roof is hipped on the southwest side . On the long side facing the burial ground there is a two-winged door in the middle. The ground floor consists of several rooms that are accessed through a central hallway. The right part of the house was used as a guard's apartment, as well as the attic rooms. The left part of the house was used by the tahara , where the tahara table is still standing.
