The Tailend Nunatak is a 535 m (according to British data about 550 m ) high nunatak in the East Antarctic Coatsland . It rises at the northern end of the Theron Mountains in the Transantarctic Mountains .
Participants of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) under the direction of British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs him mapped between 1956 and 1957. Its name it owes to its location on the "tail end" ( English TailEnd ) of the Theron Mountains.
