Taina Murtomäki (born January 23, 1968 ) is a former Finnish biathlete .

Murtomäki started in the biathlon world cup between 1988 and 1993 . In the individual races she usually occupies one of the lower places. Their best finish was a 21st place in the sprint in Oslo in the 1987-88 season . However, there were only 23 starters in this race. This 21st place was also her only place in the points , because until the 1999/2000 season there were only points for the first 25 athletes. In the team competitions she achieved better results. In Oslo she reached in 1988, together with Katri Toumaalia and Seija Hyytiäinen, third place in the relay race. In the 1990/91 season she reached a fifth place, with Tuija Sikiö and Seija Hyytiäinen in the relay race.

Murtomäki's hit rate was around 50%, significantly lower than that of the leading athletes.
