Cementiri de Sant Gervasi
Cementiri de Sant Gervasi is the 1853 scale cemetery of the district Eixample in Barcelona , Spain.
The cemetery has an area of 12,229 m² and is divided into two parts by a staircase that leads to the cemetery chapel. It includes 4,773 graves in the form of mausoleums and niches. Numerous sculptures and ornaments, mainly in the style of eclecticism , decorate the graves. To be emphasized here is u. a. the Pantheon Cros , designed by Joan Baptista Pons i Trabal (1894).
