Takanori Sugeno ( Japanese 菅 野 孝 憲 , Sugeno Takanori ; born May 3, 1984 in Fujimi , Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Takanori Sugeno learned to play football in the Tokyo Verdy youth team . He signed his first contract with Yokohama FC in 2003 . The club from Yokohama , a city in Kanagawa prefecture , played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2006 he was with Yokohama champions of the second division and rose to the first division. The guest appearance in the J1 League lasted only one season. At the end of 2007 he had to return to the second class with the club. After 186 games, he moved in 2008 to the first division club Kashiwa Reysol . In late 2009 he was relegated to the second division with Kashiwa. A year later, the club managed to return to the J1 as champions. In 2011 he became Japanese soccer champion with Kashiwa. In 2012 he was in the final of the Emperor's Cup . Here they defeated Gamba Osaka 1-0. He won the J. League Cup with Kashiwa 2013. In the final, the club won 1-0 against the Urawa Red Diamonds . In 2016, the goalkeeper switched to Kyōto Sanga . The club from Kyoto played in the second division. For Kyoto he was 73 times in the second division in goal. The 2018 and 2019 season he was loaned to the first division club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in Sapporo . In the two years he came to a use in the first division. After the loan ended, he was signed by Sapporo in early 2020.
