Takaya Ōishi ( Japanese 大石 尚 哉 , Ōishi Takaya ; born July 7, 1972 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ōishi learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Verdy Kawasaki in 1995 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed 14 first division games. In April 1998 he was loaned to the league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In September 1998 he returned to Verdy Kawasaki. In 1999 he moved to third division Yokohama FC . 1999 and 2000 he was with the club champion of the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 23 games. In 2001 he moved to league rivals Jatco FC . For the club he completed 26 games. At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
