Taku Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 辺 卓 , Watanabe Taku ; born November 9, 1971 in Ibaraki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Watanabe learned to play soccer on the school team at Mito Commercial High School . He signed his first contract with Fujita Industries (Bellmare Hiratsuka) in 199 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. In 1993 he was with the club champion of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . In 1994 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 122 games. In 1996 he moved to league rivals Cerezo Osaka . For the club he completed 11 first division games. In 1997 he moved to the second division Consadole Sapporo . In 1997 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 43 games. In 1999 he moved to the third division Mito HollyHock . At the end of the 1999 season, the club rose to the J2 League . For the club he completed 53 games. In 2001 he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . For the club he completed 53 games. At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
