Takuji Yonemoto ( Japanese 米 本 拓 司 , Yonemoto Takuji ; born December 3, 1990 in Itami , Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Takuji Yonemoto learned to play football in the youth teams of Mizuho SC and Itami FC as well as in the school team of Itami High School . From May 2008 to January 2009 he was loaned to the first division club Vissel Kobe to Kobe . He signed his first professional contract with FC Tokyo in 2009 . The club, which is based in Tokyo Prefecture , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In his first season he was with the club winner of the J. League Cup . At the end of 2010, he had to start the path to the second division with the club. A year later they became champions of the J2 League and went straight back to the first division. In the promotion season he was with the club in the final of the Kaiser Cup . In the final they defeated Kyōto Sanga 4-2. The U23 team has played in the third division, the J3 League, since 2016 . It was used here three times in 2018. After more than 200 games for the club, he moved to league rivals Nagoya Grampus in Nagoya in early 2019 .

In 2010, Takuji Yonemoto made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . He has so far played one international match for Japan.
