Takumi Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 辺 匠 Watanabe Takumi ; born March 15, 1982 in Fukushima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Watanabe learned to play soccer on the school team at Toko Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract with the Kawasaki Frontale in 2000 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2000 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2004 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. For the club he completed 93 league games. In 2006 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 108 league games. In 2010 he moved to the second division Roasso Kumamoto . For the club he completed 25 league games. In 2011 he moved to third division club Matsumoto Yamaga FC . At the end of the 2011 season, the club rose to the J2 League.
