Takuya Sugiyama ( Japanese 杉山 琢 也 Sugiyama Takuya ; born January 1, 1983 in Fukushima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sugiyama learned to play football on the university team at Heisei International University . He signed his first contract with Thespa Kusatsu in 2005 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed nine league games. He then played for FC Gifu and Arte Takasaki . In 2010 he moved to third division V-Varen Nagasaki . In 2012 he was with the club champion of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League. In 2014 he moved to third division club Fukushima United FC .
