Tamina Kallert (born June 24, 1974 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Career

Tamina Kallert attended the Waldorf School in Freiburg . After graduating from high school, she studied English and history in Freiburg and Cologne. After stays abroad in the USA , Ukraine and India , she completed an internship at WDR in 1995 .

She worked as a reporter for the WDR youth magazine Lollo Rosso . She presented the lifestyle program Gimmi Feif , the ARD summer program Mallorca Life and the WDR magazine Boulevard Europa . In autumn 1999 she moved to ProSieben and worked as an editor and reporter for Die Reporter . From 2000 to 2003 she presented the travel magazine Abenteuer & Reisen TV for DSF . From 2004 to 2007 Tamina Kallert presented wonderful things ... Since 2008 Kallert has been featured in many issues of the WDR travel magazine Wunderschön! to see (formerly wonderful regions , as well as wonderful NRW , moderated by Bernd Müller). In addition, she presented the program Tiergeschichten at WDR from 2004 to 2010 , and since 2015 2 for 300 . In September 2016, together with Daniel Hope , she moderated the Eurovision Young Musicians 2016 event in Cologne , organized by WDR .

She plays the violin in an episode of Wunderschön .

Private

Tamina Kallert is married to the Swiss journalist Nik Niethammer , with him she has a son and a daughter.
