Tammi Øst
Tammi Øst (born October 1, 1958 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actress.
Life
Tammi Øst successfully completed her acting studies at Den Danske Scenekunstskole in 1982 . She then played in several films and was mainly seen in the theater. From 1990 to 1997 she was a permanent member of the Det Kongelige Teater ensemble and during this time she became one of the most prominent Danish theater actresses. With a total of four awards, three for Best Leading Actress and one for Best Supporting Actress , for the renowned Reumert Theater Prize she is still the most frequently awarded actress to this day.
Øst was awarded the Dannebrogden in 1996.
From a previous relationship with actor Mikael Birkkjær , she has two children, a son and a daughter. The daughter Andrea Øst Birkkjær is also an actress. She has been married to actor Jens Jørn Spottag since 2013 .
