Nicolas Charbonnier (born August 4, 1981 in Roubaix ) is a former French sailor .
successes
Nicolas Charbonnier took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing in the 470 dinghy . Together with Olivier Bausset , he finished third behind Nathan Wilmot and Malcolm Page as well as Joe Glanfield and Nick Rogers . With a total of 78 points, they received the bronze medal in front of the Dutch with the same number of points, who finished one place behind the two French in the decisive medal race . The year before, Charbonnier was runner-up in Europe with a construction set. In 2002 Charbonnier had the title at the European Championships with Stéphane Christidiswon. At World Championships in 2010 he won the silver medal in Medemblik with Baptiste Meyer .
