history

Tandem Aero was founded in 1998 and began flight operations shortly after it was founded with an Antonov An-24 . In the further course two Tupolev Tu-134 were floated in but later returned.

The AOC of Tandem Aero was drafted by the Moldovan government due to security concerns in April of 2019. As a result, flight operations and thus the company were shut down.

Destinations

Tandem Aero only flew to Tel Aviv from Chișinău ; the flight was codeshared with El Al . In addition, charter flights were offered, the planes were leased from Air Moldova .

fleet

As of January 2019, Tandem Aero did not own any aircraft. In the near future, an Airbus A320-200 should be taken over by FANAir (Ukraine) . In the past, an Embraer EMB 120 was operated for Air Moldova .
