Tandi Jane Gerrard (born February 25, 1978 in Johannesburg ) is a former South African and British diver . She started in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board as well as in 3-meter synchronized jumping. Gerrard took part in two Olympic Games .

She initially started for her home country South Africa. Gerrard celebrated her first success at the Pan-African Games in 1995, where she won the title from the 3-meter board. At her first World Cup in 1998 in Perth , she started from the 1-meter and 3-meter board, but was eliminated in the preliminary fight. She also took part in the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur and reached tenth place on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.

Gerrard has been part of the British national team since 2002 and has since started for Great Britain. She joined the City of Leeds Diving Club and was trained there by Adrian Hinchliffe. Gerrad made her first assignment for her new adopted home at the European Championships in Berlin in 2002 . There she was sixth in the 3-meter synchronized jumping with Jane Smith and eleventh in the individual from the 3-meter board. At the 2003 World Championships in Barcelona , she was fifth in 3-meter synchronized jumping with Smith and achieved her best result at a world championship. She was eliminated from the 3-meter board in the semifinals. Gerrard first took part in the Olympic Games in Athens . With Smith, she narrowly missed a medal in fourth. She competed at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne with her new dubbing partner Hayley Sage and won her first bronze medal for Great Britain at an international championship. At the 2007 World Championships , again in Melbourne, Gerrad and Sage took part in the 3-meter synchronized jumping and were eighth. The duo also competed together at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and again came eighth.

Gerrard won three titles at British Championships.

After the 2008 Olympics, Gerrard ended her active career. As a judge, she has remained connected to diving.
