The Tanew is a Polish river with a length of 113 km. It rises at an altitude of 308 m in the south-east of Poland in the hills of Roztocze near the village of Huta-Złomy south of the small town of Narol , flows off in a west-northwest direction and flows into the San at a height of 163 m in the town of Ulanów .
The catchment area of the Tanew is given as 2,339 km², the mean discharge at the mouth of 13.1 m³ / s.
