Tania Rupel

Tania Rupel ( Bulgarian Таня Рупел ; * 1969 in Blagoewgrad , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian-German painter and writer. She uses the stage name Tera ( Bulgarian Тера ).

Life

Tania Rupel is the daughter of the poet Emil Rupel . She studied Bulgarian Philology and Journalism at the University of Sofia . She has lived and worked in Munich since 2005. In 2013 she received German citizenship.

Since 2013 she has been a member of the Free German Authors' Association of Bavaria (FDA Bavaria) and of the "Authors Gallery 1". In 2017 she became a member of the culture platform jourfixe-muenchen eV She translated her father's poems into German for FDA poetry.

She prefers to paint her pictures in acrylic, oil and pastel. Tera focuses on people and their insides, their hidden feelings, fears and wounds.
