The Tarabya British Schools ( Turkish Tarabya İngiliz Okulları , often abbreviated as TBS ) is a private British international school in Istanbul , in the Tarabya district . It was founded in 2013 by the Horizon Education Group. The aim of the school is to prepare students for studying abroad through the CIE A-Level curriculum.

Curriculum

Classes are bilingual in Turkish and English . The Turkish students complete two programs: Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) Anatolian Lyceum and CIE International A-Levels . That is why the graduates receive two school leaving diplomas. Students who do not have sufficient knowledge of English attend a preparatory year called 'Prep' during which they learn enough English to meet the school's requirements.
