The Tarakäkä peak is approximately 700 m high mountain on the Antarctic Ross Island . In the Kyle Hills, it rises 2.1 km east-northeast of Ainley Peak .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2001 after a Māori term for a south-westerly wind.
