System leadership

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A system leadership is the perception of higher-level tasks of a company for several companies.

In Switzerland, a railway infrastructure company can perform higher-level tasks of railway infrastructure operation or development for several railway infrastructure companies. The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) hold the system leadership in traction current with 15 kV 16.7 Hz and in the train control system European Train Control System (ETCS) for standard gauge. The Rhaetian Railway (RhB) is the system leader for the train control of the meter and special gauge railways (ZBMS).
