Tarmitz is a district of the city of Lüchow (Wendland) in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
The place is located in Wendland and today has about 40 inhabitants. It is located northeast of the city of Lüchow and north of the village of Woltersdorf . The place is an old round village . The Lucie Canal , which drains to the north, runs east of the village .
On July 1, 1972, Tarmitz was incorporated into the district town of Lüchow.
