Taryll Adren Jackson (born August 8, 1975 in Los Angeles ) is an American singer and musician . He is a member of the band 3T .

Personal

Taryll Jackson was born the middle of three children. His parents are Tito Jackson and Delores "Dee Dee" Martes Jackson (✝ 1994), so he has African American roots on his father's side and Dominican roots on his mother's side. He has two brothers, Taj and TJ Jackson, and is a nephew of Michael and Janet Jackson .

As the son of Tito Jackson, Taryll grew up privileged, but also under the observation of the American public. His mother made sure that he and his brothers had a relatively normal childhood, with birthday parties, baseball, family outings, etc. However, family happiness came to an abrupt end in 1994 when Delores Martes Jackson was only 39 years old in her then swimming pool Significant partner, Donald Bohana, drowned. Taryll was 19 years old at the time.

The investigators - unlike the family - assumed a tragic accident and initially acquitted Delores Martes Jackson's partner. However, the sons were able to have the proceedings resumed. In this, the public prosecutor and the court followed their argument; for example, in 1998 Donald Bohana was sentenced to 15 years in prison for conditional murder.

Taryll Jackson is in a relationship with Breana Cabral (* 1980) and has two sons with her: Bryce Connor (* February 20, 2008) and Adren Michael (* February 17, 2011).

Taryll Jackson always had a very good relationship with his uncle Michael Jackson. He was like a third parent to him. Taryll also expressed the closeness to his uncle in the program booklet for Michael Jackson's funeral service: "You have filled my life with knowledge, laughter, happiness and love. For the world," Michael Jackson "is the greatest. For me, Uncle Michael is still more. I love you more than life ".

Career

Even as young children, Taryll Jackson and his brothers appeared on television and on stage with their famous father, uncles and aunts. They began to imitate the Jackson 5 at an early age , learning to play instruments and write songs themselves. In 1985 - TJ was 7, Taryll 10 and Taj 12 - they were offered a recording deal. They refused because they wanted to enjoy their childhood first and finish school.

In 1986, Taryll and TJ Jackson had a cameo in the music video for their aunt Janet Jackson's song When I think of you .

In 1994 the three young Jacksons formed the band 3T and have so far released two albums, Brotherhood (1995) and Identity (2004). A third album could not be released due to disputes with the record company.

TJ and Taryll Jackson also wrote and produced songs for various other artists, including Lindsay Lohan and her aunt Janet Jackson.

In 2009, Taryll Jackson announced that he would be working on several EPs, each containing 8 songs. These mini-albums should only appear as a download. After the death of his uncle Michael Jackson, the project was initially put on hold. It wasn't until 2012 that the time had come. The first EP, My Life Without You , was released by Taryll Jackson in memory of his late mother on Mother's Day in 2012. A few months later, the second solo EP, Undeniabe , came out. He dedicated this to his uncle Michael Jackson and chose his birthday, August 29, 2012, as the publication date.

Taryll Jackson and his brothers have been working on a new album as 3T since 2012.
