Tasmania Forst (full name Sportclub Tasmania 1913 Forst ) was a workers' sports club from the Berge district of the city of Forst (Lausitz) in Brandenburg . His soccer team took part in games and the championship rounds of the ATSB in the Weimar Republic .

history

The association was founded in 1913 in Forst. He belonged to the ATSB regional association 2. Märkische Spielvereinigung and played in the 16th ATSB district, which covered Niederlausitz and Neumark .

In the 1922/23 season , the club became champions of the 16th ATSB circle and defeated SV Stern Breslau 2-1 after extra time in the semi-finals of the East German Association Championship . In the East German final in Spremberg, Tasmania Forst was defeated by BFC Alemannia 22 1: 3.

In the following season 1923/24 Tasmania Forst was again champion of the 16th ATSB circle and was defeated in the semifinals of the East German Association Championship to SV Stern Breslau with 0: 1.

After the seizure of power of the Nazis , the club was banned in 1933 and joined Turnerschaft mountains on. At the end of the Second World War , the Berge district fell to Poland and the Berge gymnastics community was dissolved.
