Tatiana Alexandrovna Assejewa

Tatjana Alexandrovna Assejewa ( Russian Татьяна Александровна Асеева ; born January 21, 1959 in Vladivostok ) is a Soviet - Russian soil scientist and university professor .

Life

Assejewa studied soil science at the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok, graduating in 1982.

In 1982 Assejewa in Khabarovsk became a research assistant at the Far Eastern Research Institute for Agriculture and in 1991 head of the Laboratory for Soil Fertility and Fertilization there . In 1995 she defended her dissertation on the production conditions for spring wheat depending on the weather and fertility of the heavy clay soils of the central Amur region for a doctorate as a candidate in agricultural sciences .

In 1996 Assejewa became scientific deputy director of the Far Eastern Institute for Agriculture. In 2009 she successfully defended her doctoral thesis on the agro-ecological fundamentals of the yield structure of grain and soy crops under the conditions of the central Armur region for a doctorate in agricultural sciences. She has been the director of the institute since 2012.

Assejewa has been teaching soil science since 2012 as a professor at the Chair of Geodesy and Land Management at the Pacific State University in Khabarovsk. In 2017, she opened the Agricultural Research Center of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Jilin Province of the People's Republic of China and the Far East Agricultural Research Institute. In 2019 she was elected Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN) .
