Tatjana Maximowna Brylina ( Russian Татьяна Максимовна Брылина * 25. April 1955 in Tauschkan , Sucholoschski rayon) is a former Soviet biathlete .
Career
Brylina is one of the pioneers of her sport. In 1983 she was runner-up in the Soviet individual championships. She took part in the first ever biathlon world championships for women in Chamonix . In the first race, the sprint, she was ninth with four shooting errors. In the individual she won the bronze medal behind her teammates Wenera Tschernyschowa and Ludmilla Sabolotnjana . For the relay, which at that time was still held with three runners and won the first of eight gold medals in a row, Kaija Parve was preferred to her.
