Kirchenhöhe is a locality on today's state road 74 in the Bergisch city of Wuppertal , district of Vohwinkel .
Location and description
The location is at an altitude of 225 m above sea level. NHN on the Haßlinghauser ridge (Wuppertaler Nordhöhen) in the north of the residential quarter Schöller-Dornap in the Vohwinkel district . Neighboring locations are Jammerhörnchen , An der Piep , Bück , Saurenhaus , Schliepershäuschen , Oberst , Schickenberg , Sandfeld , Wieden , Voßbeck , Kirchenfeld , Klein Voisberg , Radenberg and Düsselerhöhe . Schickenberg and Vossbeck, south-east and south-west of Kirchenhöhe, fell through limestone mining in the course of the 20th century.

On the topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1824 the location is labeled with Jammerhorn , on the Prussian first recording from 1843 with Jammerhorn . From the Messtischblatt 1892 the place is with church height labeled. Here an old path branched off to the southeast to Schickenberg. From the 1983 map, the lettering with church height was dropped , the northern location of Düsselerhöhe dominated west of the L 74.
Until 1974, the area around the church height belonged to Wülfrath , district Unterdüssel .
