Unterdüssel is a district (key number 3301) in the southeast of Wülfrath ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It goes back to the Bergische Honschaft Unterdüssel of the rule Schöller in the office Solingen .

In the 19th century Unterdüssel was an independent rural community in the mayor's office of Wülfrath. In 1888 this included the residential areas Berg , Blume , Bollenbergsdorf , Brasel , Brebeck , Britten , Brühl , Busch , Buschkothen , Dörnen , Dörnerwerth , Dorfermühle , Dornap , Düssel , Düsselermühle , Düsselerhöhe , recreation , Fahnheide , Fredenschickenberg , Görtzheide , Grünepütt , Grünewald , Gruitingschickenberg , basic , Halkenberg , Hahnenfurth , Hammerstein , house Düssel , Heister , Heister field , flyover , wood , sleeves , Jammer croissants , Kamp , Church field , Church height , small Voisberg , Korte house , crown , Landskrone , Langendorf , Long height , Mäushäuschen , Meiswinkel , New Kothen , Niepen , Ötelshofen , Ötelshoferhäuschen , Scheidt , Schlagbaum , Schlupkothen , Schmalefeld , Schrupstock , Schwarzes Loch , Sipchesfeld , Sprung , Tillmannsdorf , Timpen , Überzurbeek , Üllenschütt , Voisberg , Vossbeck and Wiedenerhäuschen .

In 1975, the south-eastern part of the district with the residential areas Bollenbergsdorf, Dornap, Düsselerhöhe, Fredenschickenberg, Gruitingschickenberg, Hahnenfurth, Heister, Heistersfeld, Jammerhörnchen, Kirchenfeld, Kirchenhöhe, Klein Voisberg, Schmalefeld, Vossbeck and Wiedenerhäuschen, as well as the now desolate residential areas Fredenschickenberg, Gruiting fell , Schmalefeld and Vossbeck incorporated into Wuppertal.
