Tatiana Gennadjewna Voronowa ( Russian Татья́на Генна́дьевна Во́ронова; born March 30, 1975 in Taischet , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Russian politician and stateswoman.

biography

Voronova graduated from Baikal State University in 1997 with a degree in economics (then the Irkutsk Economic Academy). From 1998 to 2000 she worked as a manager in the youth center "Elbor" (Эльбор), then until 2001 as an expert in the regional youth personnel center in Irkutsk . At the same time she acted as the chairman of the board of the Irkutsk branch of the “Youth Unity” movement.

In 2004 Voronova was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Irkutsk Oblast and took over the chairmanship of the Committee on Social and Cultural Law.

From 2005 to 2007, Voronova headed the coordination council of Molodaja Gwardija , the youth organization of the party " United Russia ".

In December 2007, Voronova was elected by the Ust-Ordynsk Autonomous Okrug for the fifth convocation of the Russian State Duma . Here she belonged to the United Russia faction. With the end of the legislative period in December 2011, Voronova was appointed a member of the Central Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation .

After the Duma, Voronova moved to the Russian presidential administration , where she worked as deputy head until 2015. On March 23, 2015, she was appointed head of the domestic policy department of the presidential administration.

On October 22, 2016, Voronova became Chief of Staff of the State Duma, replacing the long-time incumbent Dschachan Pollyeva .
