Pigeon tower in Odars

The pigeon tower (French colombier or pigeonnier ) in Odars , a French commune in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region , stands in the middle of fields east of the village. The pigeon tower has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1997 .

description

The rectangular tower made of brick masonry is opened on the ground floor by eight round arches. A cornice runs beneath the pyramid roof . Originally the building was decorated with brightly colored glazed bricks.
