Baptismal font in Gassicourt

The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of Ste-Anne in Gassicourt , a district of Mantes-la-Jolie in the French department of Yvelines in the Île-de-France region , was created in the 13th century. In 1862 the Gothic baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 1.02 meter high limestone baptismal font has the shape of an irregular octagon. The upper edge is with a vine leaf frieze decorated.
