The baptismal font in the Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Gaillon-sur-Montcient , a French commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region , was created in the 12th century. In 1908, the Romanesque baptismal font was added to the list of protected objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The 85 cm high baptismal font made of limestone stands on an oval base. The basin, which is also oval, is decorated on the outside with two flowers framed by ribbons.
