Tauno Suojärvi
Tauno Suojärvi (* 28. August 1928 in Hämeenlinna , † 13. June 2013 in Turku ) was a Finnish jazz - bassist .
Live and act
Tauno Suojärvi was the brother of the jazz pianist Teuvo Suojärvi , whose quartet / quintet he belonged to in the early 1950s. He played in Kalevi Hartin Yhtye's band in the late 1940s . In the field of jazz he was involved in ten recording sessions between 1948 and 1978, including a. with Lars Gullin , Kalevi Hartti and in the backing band of the vocal group Harmony Sisters .
