Tavua is a town on Viti Levu in Fiji with 2388 inhabitants (as of 2007). It is about 91 km from Nadi and 9 km from the gold mining settlement of Vatukoula . The village covers an area of ​​about 100 km² and received city status in 1992. One of the Senators to the Fiji Parliament, Chandra Singh , has been a representative of the city since 2001.

The city belongs to the province of Ba . The village has a football club, Tavua FC , which takes part in the National Football League .
