The Taxis River is a 40 km long right tributary of the Southwest Miramichi River in the Canadian province of New Brunswick .
River course
The Taxis River arises at the confluence of the North Branch and South Branch Taxis River . It flows in a predominantly easterly direction to Boiestown , where it flows into the Southwest Miramichi River. The course of the river is in northern York County . The 510 km² catchment area of the Taxis River is mainly forested.
