Tayyibe ( Arabic الطيّبة, DMG aṭ-Ṭayyiba , Palestinian-Arabic Tayyibe ; Hebrew טַיִּבָּה Ṭajjibbah , Plene טייבה also Taibeh or Tayiba ) is a city in Israel . It is located about 14 kilometers southeast of Netanya and 12 kilometers northeast of Kfar Saba .
Tayyibe has existed since the Bronze Age. Tayyibe received city status in 1990. In 2018 the population of Tayyibe was 43,127. The population consists almost entirely of Arabs .
The local soccer club Tayyibes caused a sensation, becoming the first Arab-Israeli club to be promoted to the highest Israeli league in 1996.
