The team at the German Road Championships 2015 in Bensheim

The MLP Team Bergstrasse is a German cycling team based in Weinheim .

The team emerged from the merger of the U23 cycling league teams Bergstrasse and Jenatec . The team's bases in 2013 were Weinheim and Gera. At the initiative of cycling sponsor Basso , the team was registered as the UCI Continental Team . Former Team Gerolsteiner professional Sven Krauss joined the supervisory staff as a further sporting director .

At the end of the 2013 season, Jenatec separated from the team again, and the remaining team merged with the MLP cycling team from the u. a. Olympic champion Andreas Walzer joined the team as sporting director. Former Team Telecom professional Christian Henn was hired as a further sporting director .

The team was disbanded at the end of 2015.
