Team Stronach Niederösterreich was the regional organization of Team Stronach in the federal state of Lower Austria .

history

In the state elections in Lower Austria in 2013 as an electoral party "List FRANK", the party achieved 9.84% of the votes and moved into the state parliament of Lower Austria with five seats . The Stronach Lower Austria team, together with the Stronach Carinthia team , which also received 11.18% of the votes cast in the 2013 state elections in Carinthia on March 20, 2013 , was not just one of the first two state organizations of the Stronach team to participate in elections but also one of the two first regional organizations of the party to be elected to an Austrian state parliament.

Renate Heiser-Fischer replaced Elisabeth Kaufmann-Bruckberger as the state party leader in October 2013 .

At the end of November 2013, State Councilor Elisabeth Kaufmann-Bruckberger and club chairman Ernest Gabmann junior were expelled from the party because of “behavior that was harmful to the party”. The two then founded the Lower Austria team , which was also joined by Walter Naderer , Gabriele Gimborn and Herbert Machacek . Gabmann did not rule out the possibility of founding his own party under this name. But he remains the club chairman of the FRANK list .

The FRANK list split further in April 2015 when Walter Naderer left the Lower Austria team and became a non-attached MP.

The dissolution of the party was decided on the day of the constituent session of the state parliament after the election in January 2018 .

The state organization had to pay almost two million euros to the federal organization so that it could service outstanding loans from party founder Frank Stronach . The last remaining financial resources of the Stronach Niederösterreich team must be used for social purposes.
