Technical reach

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The technical range indicates the number of households or people who could receive a radio or television station if they wanted to.

The decisive factor is the technically possible availability of a cable , internet or telephone connection , a radio or satellite signal over which the program is broadcast. It does not take into account whether a household has such a connection or whether the technical devices for reception are available.

The significance of the technical range for media selection is limited.

In contrast to the range of the media , the technical range also includes households that have never switched on the radio or television station.
