The Technical School of the Air Force 3 ( abbreviated TSLw 3 ) was a training facility for the Air Force of the German Armed Forces founded in Faßberg in 1957 .
history
The history of this school began in 1956 in Bavaria . With Luftwaffe deployment order No. 16, issued by the Federal Minister of Defense , Dept. VI (Air Force), in Bad Godesberg on May 26, 1956, the Technical School L at the Lechfeld Air Base was set up with training groups A and B to train aeronautical and telecommunications personnel. In 1957, TSLw 3 started training operations in Faßberg with three training squadrons.
As part of the realignment of the Bundeswehr , the dissolution of the Air Force Technical School 3 (TSLw 3) and the Air Force Technical School 1 (TSLw 1) on December 31, 2013 was announced on October 26, 2011. For it was at the site Fassberg ( air base Fassberg that) Technical Training Center of the Air Force (TAusbZLw) set up on 1 January 2014 and the command support organizations Air Force (KdoUstgVbdeLw), FB Log / Nu assumed.
Training assignment
The Air Force Technical School 3 was the competence center for technical and logistical training on rotary wing aircraft for the Army and Air Force.
