Ted Binion

Lonnie Theodore "Ted" Binion (born November 28, 1943 in Dallas , Texas , † September 17, 1998 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) was an American entrepreneur and gambler .

Life

Binion was born in Dallas in 1943 , the son of casino owner Benny Binion . Together with his siblings Jack , Becky, Brenda and Barbara, he and their father moved to Las Vegas in 1946 , where he opened Binion's Horseshoe in 1951 .
